At a time when Platipus were leaving their trademark psychedelic trance sound behind, 'Teeth Of The Jungle' came as a welcome return to the 'good old days'. This track is uniquely Platipus, from the stomping tribal tinged beats through to the squelchy 303s, the intricate jungle percussion, and the sweat melodies, although this probably bangs away harder than most Platipus tracks. Don't be put off by the title track; 'Teeth Of The Jungle' is one of the best melodic psychedelic trancers to be released on Platipus.
