1971 is a curious moment to rock history. In my opinion 1971's reach the maximum blend of the 60's sound and the new 70's sound that emerge. Sum Pear's sound reflect this. Rural hippie psych rock with more sofisticated and developed ideas in instrumental parts, not as virtuoses but in a good sense for arrangements in a expressive result. There some intense moments, like Bring Home America, and other more reflexive folk moments. A retrospective to psychedelic tendencies with a view in the new and superbous sound of 70's.
